Overview
We’re searching for a creative and highly skilled Video Editor to join an innovative team pushing the limits of Extended Reality (XR). This isn’t just about editing footage – it’s about creating stories that bring cutting-edge technology to life and inspire excitement.
As part of the XR Experiences team, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop videos that showcase XR Tech, Codec Avatars, and 3D Generative AI. Your work will help stakeholders understand and embrace these emerging technologies, making a direct impact on how they are perceived and adopted across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce engaging, high-quality videos that highlight the value and possibilities of XR technology.
- Translate complex technical ideas into clear, visually compelling stories.
- Collaborate with project and engineering managers to create content that supports their goals.
- Build relationships with different XR teams to gather assets and stay informed about new developments.
- Offer expert advice on video production best practices.
- Use Adobe After Effects and related tools to design standout visuals – especially for AR Sharing features.
- Report to the XR Experiences Team while providing editing services across the XR Tech group.
Required Skills & Experience
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
- Strong track record with editing software like Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve.
- Confident filming with DSLR and mobile cameras.
- Proven ability to create short-form, viral content for platforms like Instagram and YouTube.
- Experience with voiceover work, AI voice tools, and on-camera presentations.
- Skilled in AI-based video production techniques.
- Background in previz and concept development.
- Independent worker with excellent time management skills.
- Proficient in color grading and final production finishing.
Preferred Skills
- Capturing AR/VR headset footage.
- Unity experience, including camera settings and post-processing.
- Understanding of 3D graphics workflows.
- Social media short-form video expertise (Reels, AR effects).
- Storyboard creation and graphic design skills.
