PGA of America – Education and Training Specialist

Greetings from PGA of America – the only association for golf professionals and dedicated to develop Golf as sport. Join our education and training team as the professional responsible for delivering professional training programs for PGA Professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Offer ILS and IV seminars for PGA Golf Operations Career Path and Executive Management Career Path.
Support the development and improvement of educational material for the Associate, Student, and Member classes and programs that align with course requirements.

• Provide feedback and support, reviewing and evaluating work experience activities provided by Associates.
• Complete the PGA mentor program, making oneself available to pass on information to the Associates and Members via calls and emails.
• Amend Item Writing, Passing Score Review, and Curriculum Design workshops which involve experts in the related field.
• Introduce new directions and proposed changes to the curriculum and the work experience activities performed in the industry.
• Fundamentally fund the delivery of the PGA Section and National Education Conferences.

Qualifications:

• Ha sido maestro en alguno de los niveles, preferentemente con título de educador, grado académico en Educación o del área correspondiente, título de Magíster.
• Minimum requirements include: Professional presentation and program delivery experience at least 5 years.
• Good insight on the golf industry especially on the Executive Management and Golf Operations.
• PGA Member required.
