Burke
This position comes into contact with people within the community, new visitors to the centre, and people within the Burke staff. Tasks range from answering multi-line phones, mail distribution and delivery, fee collection, data entry, record request processing, scanning documents to form electronic charts, clerk assistance to the clinical team, and scheduling, among other miscellaneous tasks. This position must have a good working relationship with consumers and staff. Keep records secret in accordance with the requirements of practice privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures. Verbal skills and written skills applicants have to possess are necessary to meet.
Education
Required: Successful completion of high school education or its equivalency with a diploma.
Experience
Required: One year office experience and or experience in a medical or mental health field.
Licenses/Certifications
Required: Valid Texas driver’s license
Physical Requirements
Required: C: Vision, Speech, ability to hear, Walking, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, Prolonged sitting and Standing, Bending and kneeling, Driving and Operation of a motor vehicle, Manipulation. In addition to having a driving record insurable by Burke’s insurance administrator, applicant must also have a current driver’s license.
Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Salary
$28,329 annually
