Job Title: Web Developer – Marketing Department
Lycée International de Houston is looking for a talented Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain engaging websites that support our educational programs. This role involves creating user-friendly platforms for students, teachers, and staff while collaborating with the marketing team to boost the school’s online presence and integrate social media.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Development: Design and maintain program websites, admissions portals, and online tools.
Custom Solutions: Build tailored web applications for student and teacher resources.
Front-End Development: Create responsive designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Back-End Development: Develop robust systems with PHP, Python, and database integration.
CMS Management: Customize platforms like WordPress for school needs.
Marketing Support: Integrate social media, optimize web content, and create landing pages.
SEO & Performance: Implement SEO strategies, monitor performance, and improve user engagement.
Security: Ensure compliance with privacy standards and secure all web systems.
Mobile Optimization: Guarantee mobile-friendly, accessible designs.
Support & Training: Provide guidance to staff on using web tools effectively.
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in web development, including HTML, PHP, WordPress, and website maintenance.
Expertise in front-end and back-end development.
Familiarity with UX/UI principles, SEO practices, and web security standards.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Job Details:
Type: Full-time
Pay: $31,200–$35,360 per year
