Job Overview:

Qodric is hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Back-End Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power modern web and mobile applications. This position is open for both remote and onsite candidates based in Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable server-side logic for web applications
• Build and manage APIs, data storage solutions, and system architecture
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in one or more back-end languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, Java)
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
