Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Freelance WordPress Web Designer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should have a strong design aesthetic, hands-on experience with WordPress themes and builders (especially Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery), and a solid understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build custom WordPress websites from concept to launch
- Customize themes and plugins based on client requirements
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
- Optimize website performance and loading speed
- Collaborate with content writers, SEO specialists, and developers
- Manage revisions and deliver final projects on time
- Maintain clear communication with project managers and clients
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in WordPress web design (freelance or agency)
- Proficiency in WordPress CMS, Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or similar tools
- Strong eye for design, layout, and user experience
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (preferred)
- Understanding of SEO principles and website speed optimization
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines remotely
- Portfolio of live WordPress websites is required
- Fluent in English; good communication and organizational skills
