Job Overview:

Zynkoria Media is looking for a talented and imaginative Game Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging game mechanics, level flows, and user experiences for both casual and core gaming audiences. This role is open to both remote and onsite candidates based in Alaska.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop game concepts, mechanics, and systems from idea to implementation
• Create detailed design documents, flowcharts, and wireframes
• Collaborate with developers, artists, and writers to ensure vision alignment
• Balance gameplay for challenge and engagement across platforms
• Analyze user feedback and data to improve gameplay experience
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in game design or a similar role
• Proficiency with design tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar engines
• Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics, level design, and user experience
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• A passion for games and creative storytelling
