Job Title: VIP Host

Position Overview:
The VIP Host is involved in establishing a positive manner of dealing with the guests in the course of fulfilling the VIP reservation systems, making sure that the guests are well contacted and taken care of through the development of the right rapport to help the promotions of the nightclub, dayclub and all related services. Close attention to the customers, as well as VIPs, will be needed because this position should guarantee the guests a wonderful time.
Key Responsibilities:
Treat any special and important guest very well by welcoming him/her warmly.
Help in arranging of chairs and making sure that all the guests are comfortable all through.
Make sure to explain more on the VIP services, the bottle service and other events available.
Book, schedule and coordinate reservation for the VIPS room & other privileges to ensure the clients get the exact services that they booked at the right time.
Develop communication and rapport with high profile guests, learn what exactly they need and would want and deliver it fully.
Meet with other members of the operational team that include the waiters and the bar tenders so that they determine which VIP requests are important.
Pay special attention to the sections where VIP s hang out to guarantee that they are clean and have the appropriate image.
Respond to any guests’ problem or complaint politely.
Encourage consumers to purchase VIP services and to buy products that are only available to them.
Some of the records that should be kept when dealing with VIP guests include; their favorite events and functions of VIP performers or artists to be invited.
Sometimes even organize yourself to attend events within your field in order to make contacts and earn the trust of influential people.
Qualifications:
- GED or High School diploma.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CRM, specifically in the nightlife or hospitality domain.
- Customer knowledge regarding the preferences of the nightclub business.
- Organizational and Problem-solving Skills Organizational and Problem-solving skills are fairly good.
- This position affords an opportunity to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
- To be able to work during nights, on weekends and public holidays.
- Computer literate with operational knowledge on Microsoft office packages.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and fully use both arms and legs, as well as the full range of body motion to occasionally reach, bend and stand.
Regular loud moderate noise level and possible passive smoking.
