Overview

Pay: From $20,000/year | 8-Hour Shift | Remote Work

Karysh is looking for a creative and culturally in-tune Social Media Manager to shape and grow our digital presence—especially on TikTok and Instagram. This role goes beyond scheduling posts—it’s about storytelling, building community, and making the Karysh brand resonate with audiences, particularly across the Pakistani and South Asian diaspora in North America.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement a smart, forward-thinking social media strategy
• Create, curate, and manage original content (photos, videos, captions) for TikTok and Instagram
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and build real relationships with followers
• Track key performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
• Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and brand voice
• Identify and connect with influencers and community partners
• Plan, run, and evaluate paid social campaigns
• Stay on top of social media trends, tools, and platform updates
• Deliver clear and consistent performance reports with actionable insights

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing social media, especially TikTok and Instagram
• Strong content creation skills: writing, visual storytelling, and short-form video editing
• Familiarity with South Asian/Pakistani culture—especially among North American audiences
• Knowledge of other platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Pinterest is a plus
• Understanding of social media analytics and paid advertising tools
• Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking abilities
• A positive, creative mindset with a passion for building online communities
