Job Description:
WebCraft Agency is looking for a skilled and creative WordPress/Shopify Developer to join our fully remote team. You’ll be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining high-quality eCommerce and business websites for our global clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom WordPress and Shopify themes.
- Modify existing themes and plugins to meet client needs.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers on a daily basis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and integration problems.
- Work with APIs, third-party apps, and custom solutions.
- Implement on-page SEO and follow best practices.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience with WordPress and/or Shopify.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (for Shopify).
- Experience with theme customization and plugin development.
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.
- Knowledge of version control (Git).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify Plus.
- Knowledge of SEO principles.
- Understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization).
- UI/UX design sense.
