Position Overview
Role: Class A Switcher – Memphis, TN Area
Aero Global Logistics is a dedicated delivery service (DDS) company specializing in the transportation of automotive parts along the East Coast. We are currently seeking a Class A Switcher to service our customer in the Memphis, TN area. Primary responsibilities include safely and efficiently relocating trailers between yard positions and dock doors.
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $27.00/hour + Overtime
- Pay Frequency: Weekly – paper check issued Mondays or direct deposit on Tuesdays

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A CDL vehicle safely and efficiently in full compliance with all traffic laws and DOT regulations
- Relocate trailers to and from dock doors in a safe, consistent manner
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Adhere to all freight handling and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Must be at least 26 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL license (required)
- Minimum of 18 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Experience with delivery driving, load/unload procedures, and route operations
- Strong understanding of freight handling and safety regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more repeatedly throughout a shift
- Must pass the company’s Physical Ability Test (PAT)
- Valid DOT medical card (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
- Clean driving record – no DUI or reckless driving violations
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
