The Role
We’re on the hunt for an organized and proactive Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of vendor compliance, invoice processing, payment troubleshooting, and banking communications. The ideal candidate brings strong Yardi knowledge, solid Excel skills, and a solutions-first mindset.
What You’ll Do
- Manage vendor onboarding & compliance (Yardi + VendorCafe)
- Resolve vendor inquiries & payment issues with professionalism
- Process, track, and code invoices accurately
- Collaborate with operations to ensure timely approvals & payments
- Support PO system rollouts and accounting policy updates
- Assist in treasury tasks like EFTs, positive pay, and bank liaison
- Help streamline and document AP and treasury procedures
What You Bring
- 3+ years of AP experience in a real estate or property management setting
- Hands-on Yardi experience is a must
- Excel proficiency & general software agility
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with evolving systems
- Strong problem-solving, follow-through, and independent decision-making
- Prior exposure to treasury functions is a plus
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience training onsite teams in accounting workflows
- Familiarity with banking platforms and EFT processes
- A finance, business, or accounting degree
