Key Responsibilities
As a Dairy / Cow Farm Worker, your daily tasks may include:
- Feeding cows, calves, and ensuring proper nutrition schedules are followed
- Assisting with milking operations (both automated and manual systems)
- Cleaning and maintaining barns, stalls, and feeding areas for hygiene and safety
- Monitoring the health of livestock and reporting any unusual behavior or illness
- Assisting with calving and taking care of newborn calves
- Supporting field work such as silage handling, fencing, and pasture maintenance
- Operating farm machinery and equipment (training provided)
- Following all farm safety protocols and ensuring animal welfare standards
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates should:
- Be physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor work
- Be willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime if required
- Be reliable, hardworking, and a team player
- Have basic English communication skills (preferred but not mandatory)
- Previous farm experience is a plus, but not required—training will be provided

Salary & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $14 – $18 per hour (depending on state, farm, and experience)
- Monthly Estimate: $2,400 – $3,200 (based on 40 hours per week, overtime extra)
- Overtime Pay: Available in most farms (1.5x standard rate)
