As Head of Enterprise Sales, you will oversee a growing team of enterprise account executives (AEs), collaborate across product and operations, and drive strategy for winning high-value enterprise clients. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of enterprise finance in the AI-powered age.

About the Role: Head of Enterprise Sales

As the Head of Enterprise Sales, you will lead Ramp’s strategy, execution, and success in the large enterprise segment. You will manage a team of experienced AEs, optimize the sales pipeline, and work directly with Ramp’s leadership to grow revenue, improve process efficiency, and land high-value enterprise deals.

This role is ideal for someone who has deep experience in SaaS enterprise sales, has led high-performing sales teams, and is ready to contribute hands-on in both tactical and strategic capacities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the enterprise sales segment
  • Build and lead a team of enterprise account executives across multiple regions
  • Drive achievement of enterprise revenue goals and customer acquisition targets
  • Coach and mentor AEs to close complex, high-value deals with large organizations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, account management, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment
  • Actively participate in key sales cycles and enterprise negotiations
  • Leverage data to assess performance, drive strategy adjustments, and scale success
  • Optimize sales processes, tools, and reporting for operational efficiency
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and customer-centricity within the enterprise sales team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading enterprise sales teams in SaaS or tech-driven companies
  • Proven success driving multimillion-dollar enterprise deals and consistently hitting revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, buying personas, and negotiation dynamics
  • Experience recruiting, coaching, and retaining top sales talent
  • Data-driven decision-maker with strong command of CRM and analytics tools
  • Clear and compelling communicator with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing at a detailed, operational level
  • Passion for innovation in fintech, AI, and B2B SaaS markets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to CFOs and finance departments
  • Familiarity with financial operations tools or B2B fintech platforms
  • Background in high-growth startup or scale-up environments
  • Deep understanding of selling value-driven software in complex organizations

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Range:

  • OTE (On-Target Earnings): $320,000 – $450,000/year
  • Equity: Included
  • Split: 50% base / 50% commission
  • For NYC and SF: $340K–$450K
  • For other U.S. locations: $320K–$420K
