About the Role
As a Key Account Manager for our Bicycle Tires Division, you will be the driving force behind Continental’s growth across California, Central America, and South America. This strategic sales role is perfect for a seasoned professional who thrives on relationship-building, sales execution, and territory expansion.
You’ll partner closely with wholesalers and distributors, delivering measurable results through smart planning, product positioning, and client engagement—all while ensuring Continental’s premium products reach the right markets with the right message.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement territory sales strategies to grow market share and profitability.
- Manage key wholesale accounts, ensuring revenue targets, margins, and inventory turnover are consistently met.
- Act as a business consultant to clients—understanding their needs, recommending tailored solutions, and maximizing value from Continental’s product line.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive research, and price positioning reviews.
- Collaborate with global and regional sales, marketing, and technical teams to support product promotions, merchandising, and market-specific campaigns.
- Participate in marketing planning, content development, event logistics, and trade shows focused on bicycle segments: mountain, gravel, road, and urban.
- Oversee sales forecasts, expense controls, credit terms, and product return processes.
- Drive product and service innovation through regular client feedback and market intelligence.
- Ensure inventory planning and fulfillment aligns with forecasted demand across the region.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience, or 6+ years of experience without a degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the bicycle industry.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs during event setup.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, both domestically and internationally.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship not available).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of bicycle industry experience.
- 5+ years of account management or sales leadership experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Portuguese language proficiency is a plus.
