About the Role

We’re hiring a Product Marketing Manager who will lead the charge in creating our first vertical-focused product marketing function. In this strategic role, you’ll become the go-to expert for a specific customer industry—deeply understanding their business model, challenges, tools, and regulatory landscape.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape go-to-market strategies, build compelling messaging, support key deals, and deliver targeted marketing content. This is a unique opportunity to build something new while directly impacting the industries that keep our global economy running.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the internal expert for a specific customer vertical—understanding their goals, workflows, language, and market dynamics
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to align messaging with the customer voice
  • Develop and refresh core marketing materials, including one-pagers, presentations, videos, and web content tailored to your vertical
  • Shape and execute vertical-specific marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Work alongside Sales to provide enablement tools, trainings, and strategic support on key opportunities
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to influence product roadmaps and messaging
  • Represent Samsara at internal and external events, sharing insights and thought leadership
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles across all interactions and initiatives

You’re a Great Fit If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS or high-growth tech environment
  • Direct experience working closely with sales and supporting customer-facing initiatives
  • A knack for writing compelling messaging and storytelling for business audiences
  • A strategic mindset with strong business judgment and commercial instincts
  • Confidence in presenting ideas, building cross-functional relationships, and leading initiatives
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and turning insights into clear direction
  • Analytical skills to assess performance and customer data to guide decisions
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Compensation

Base Salary Range:
$125,160 – $223,500 USD (depending on experience, skills, and location)

In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for:

  • Bonus or variable compensation
  • New hire RSUs (Restricted Stock Units)
  • Ongoing RSU refresh grants based on performance
