Restaurant Cleaning Staff

Key Responsibilities

As a Restaurant Cleaning Staff member, you will be expected to:

  • Perform routine cleaning of dining areas, restrooms, kitchens, and storage rooms
  • Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize floors, tables, and furniture
  • Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste according to safety guidelines
  • Assist in weekly and monthly deep-cleaning schedules
  • Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are followed as per Canadian regulations
  • Handle cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals safely (training provided)
  • Support kitchen staff with additional cleaning duties when needed
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor immediately

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Gender: Male and Female candidates are welcome to apply
  • Education: High School Diploma preferred (not mandatory)
  • Experience: Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial experience is an advantage but not required
  • Must be physically fit and able to handle long shifts involving standing, bending, and lifting
  • Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and safety guidelines
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as required
  • Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining cleanliness standards

Salary & Benefits
