Sales Operations Manager

About the Role

A remote-first B2B SaaS company that builds and operates resilient, Pythonic orchestration and MCP platforms used for mission-critical workloads is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to own the systems, processes, analytics, and operating rhythms that help its go-to-market team perform at its best. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines strong Sales Operations expertise with a bias toward action — identifying what the business needs, recommending the right approach, and independently driving solutions from idea through implementation.

You will work closely with Sales leadership and partners across Finance, Marketing Operations, Customer Success, and the broader Operations team, and partner with the GTM Engineer who supports the technical build-out of dashboarding, reporting, and other GTM infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the sales operating system: design, implement, and continuously improve the processes that govern opportunities, accounts, pipeline, and closed business
  • Lead the sales systems and technology strategy, owning the sales technology stack with Salesforce at its center, ensuring systems are well designed, integrated, adopted, and producing trustworthy data
  • Drive pipeline, forecasting, and sales performance management — establishing inspection rhythms, data standards, and operating processes that give leadership a clear, accurate view of pipeline health, forecast risk, conversion, productivity, and performance
  • Own sales compensation design and administration, partnering with leadership and Finance on plans, quotas, incentives, and related policies
  • Turn data into decisions by defining metrics and analyses, identifying trends, diagnosing root causes, surfacing risks and opportunities, and making clear recommendations to leadership
  • Lead cross-functional go-to-market initiatives from problem through execution, including annual planning, capacity and territory decisions, new product or pricing launches, and process changes

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a closely related role, ideally within a B2B SaaS company
  • Deep Salesforce expertise and demonstrated experience owning CRM architecture, workflows, integrations, data quality, and ongoing administration
  • Hands-on experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, sales performance analytics, quota setting, and compensation plan design and administration
  • Strong business judgment and analytical skills, with the ability to move from detailed operational questions to clear recommendations for Sales and company leadership
  • A track record of operating independently, bringing informed points of view, and driving complex cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity through implementation

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting a scaling or changing go-to-market organization, including new products, pricing models, territories, or sales motions
  • Experience with a broader modern GTM stack beyond Salesforce, including sales engagement, conversation intelligence, customer success, or contracting tools
  • Experience designing or evolving compensation models for SaaS businesses with subscription, consumption, or hybrid revenue models
  • A strong instinct for simplifying processes and systems rather than adding complexity
  • Curiosity about AI and a willingness to experiment with how it can improve Sales Operations, from productivity and analysis to automation and new ways of working
