About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen security across cloud infrastructure, applications, and internal systems. You will work with engineering and security teams to identify risks, improve security controls, and respond to complex security issues.
This position is suited to an experienced security professional who can independently handle advanced security projects and help build stronger security practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls across cloud and application environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security reviews.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents.
- Develop security monitoring and detection strategies.
- Perform threat modeling for new systems and applications.
- Work with engineering teams to address security vulnerabilities.
- Improve identity, access, and authentication controls.
- Automate security testing and monitoring processes.
- Support security audits and compliance initiatives.
- Develop security documentation, procedures, and technical standards.
Advanced Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional cybersecurity experience.
- Advanced knowledge of application and cloud security.
- Strong understanding of network security and identity management.
- Experience with SIEM and security monitoring platforms.
- Strong vulnerability management and penetration-testing knowledge.
- Advanced Linux and scripting skills.
- Experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols and access controls.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud security.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and risk management.
Preferred Skills
- Security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with zero-trust architecture.
