Wayfinder is seeking a talented Senior Designer to join our remote-first team in the United States. This is a full-time opportunity for a multidisciplinary designer to lead branding, marketing, and product design in a purpose-driven, education-focused company. Salary ranges between $85,000 and $100,000 per year, with equity and a full benefits package.
If you’re passionate about human-centered design, purpose-based education, and working with a mission-aligned team—this role is for you.
About Wayfinder
Wayfinder was founded at the Stanford d.school with a bold vision: to reimagine K–12 education around meaning, purpose, and belonging. Our goal is to become the global leader in future-readiness curriculum, helping students of all backgrounds live purposeful, values-aligned lives.
We develop research-backed learning tools for schools and educators using a human-centered design approach. Our work spans high-need public schools in the Bronx to private institutions in Silicon Valley—bringing modern, relevant education to all learners.
About the Role: Senior Designer
As our Senior Designer, you will lead the design function across both marketing and product initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering visually compelling, strategic design solutions that engage school leaders, teachers, and students across a variety of mediums—from digital and print to video and in-app experiences.
This role requires both vision and execution. One day you might storyboard a video campaign, the next you could be refining web pages or designing learning materials. Regardless of the task, you’ll bring clarity, creativity, and consistency to everything you touch.
We are a fast-growing startup, so you’ll work cross-functionally with product managers, marketers, engineers, and educators. A deep understanding of educational environments and the ability to design with empathy are key to success.
