Senior Engineer

About the Role
As a Senior Engineer (TypeScript, Node.js, React), you’ll play a key role in developing new features, improving existing systems, and ensuring our codebase is robust, maintainable, and scalable.
You will work in a greenfield environment with modern technologies such as:
- TypeScript
- React (Tanstack Start)
- Node.js (NestJS)
- Postgres
- Real-time collaboration tools like Hocuspocus/Y.js
- OpenAI for AI-powered features
You’ll also occasionally support our legacy systems built with Express, AngularJS, PHP, and MySQL.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain clean, modular, and reliable code
- Collaborate with product and design teams to bring ideas to life
- Participate in peer code reviews and mentor other developers
- Improve development workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Proactively raise ideas to enhance product performance and user experience
- Provide excellent technical support to customers when needed
Requirements
- 4+ years of JavaScript experience in production environments
- 2+ years working with React in production
- Strong knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, and automated testing
- Experience with TypeScript and/or NestJS is a plus
- Attention to detail and commitment to clean code principles
- Ability to work full-stack and independently in a remote setup
- Based in time zones UTC -5 to UTC +6 (excluding Brazil, France, Russia, UAE)
