About the Role
Twilio is on the lookout for a sharp and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join our Product Finance team, specifically supporting our high-growth Messaging business. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, R&D, and central Finance to deliver insights, support strategic decisions, and influence the financial health of one of Twilio’s core offerings.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to support strategic decisions using financial insights and modeling.
- Own and drive financial planning processes for Messaging, including monthly/quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and long-term projections.
- Build and refine financial models to assess performance, evaluate new product initiatives, and support investment decisions.
- Deliver clear and compelling presentations to senior stakeholders, turning data into actionable business insights.
- Manage month-end close processes, including COGS/OPEX accruals, and partner with Accounting for accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to streamline and automate financial reporting workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in finance—preferably in tech, SaaS, or a fast-growing software environment
- Strong financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Excellent communication skills, especially when working with non-finance partners
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and business curiosity
Preferred Skills
- Experience working closely with R&D or product development teams
- Familiarity with financial systems such as Anaplan, Oracle, or Tableau
- Previous experience supporting product-focused finance initiatives
Location & Work Style
This role is remote and open to candidates based anywhere in Canada.
Occasional travel may be required for team meetups or project-based collaboration.
Compensation
Estimated base salary (British Columbia):
$81,000 – $101,200 CAD
Final offer will depend on skills, experience, and location, based on Twilio’s internal compensation framework.
