Join the team as Twilio’s next Sr. Marketing Strategy and Analytics Manager, Social Impact.
About the Job
Twilio.org is seeking a Sr. Marketing Strategy and Analytics Manager to serve as the dedicated operational business partner to our Social Impact marketing leadership. Sitting at the intersection of Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy, marketing operations, and advanced data modeling, you won’t just report on what happened, you will design the automation, attribution, and account prioritization engines that drive what happens next.
This is an ideal opportunity for:
- The Analytics Strategist ready to drive decisions: You have deep technical data skills, including SQL, Python and modeling, but want to move beyond reporting to directly author investment proposals, influence leadership, and see your analyses translate into decisions being made.
- The Specialized Marketer ready for full-lifecycle ownership: You have deep subject-matter expertise in one domain, such as demand generation, marketing operations or lifecycle marketing, and are ready to expand your scope to own the entire marketing engine, from top-of-funnel triggers and budget allocation to field event ROI and executive scorecards.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Act as Strategic GTM Business Partner: Drive regular operating rhythms, quarterly pipeline generation (PG) OKR targets, QBR data packs, and marketing budget allocation frameworks alongside marketing leadership.
- Lead Investment Proposals & Impact Modeling: Architect rigorous business cases, scenario models, and ROI forecasts to secure investment for new marketing programs; evaluate capital trade-offs across channels and stress-test the expected pipeline return and payback periods before launch.
- Lead Pipeline Automation & Marketing Triggers: Design, script, and operationalize automated marketing triggers in Python and SQL notebooks to power high-converting marketing plays and feed targeted accounts directly into sales workflows.
- Architect Attribution & Single Source of Truth: Own end-to-end pipeline attribution models across sales, marketing, and partner channels; maintain rep-level marketing metrics integrated directly into Frontline Manager (FLM) data packs and leadership scorecards.
- Drive Account Tiering & Routing: Operationalize advanced account tiering and segmentation logic across Salesforce (SFDC) and 6sense/Segment to optimize lead routing, demand generation campaigns, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) outreach.
- Advanced Commercial Modeling: Partner with broader central data science teams on company-wide marketing frameworks, such as Marketing Mix Modeling, while independently owning custom scenario analysis, including ASP impact of bundling, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV/LFTV) cohorting, and field event ROI modeling.
- Maintain & Modernize GTM Data Infrastructure: Curate and optimize Looker, Tableau, and SFDC reporting assets, managing SQL logic via GitHub version control, dashboard glossaries, and automated data QA processes.
Qualifications
Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn’t followed a traditional path, don’t let that stop you from considering Twilio. The company is always looking for people who will bring something new to the table.
Required
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, GTM Strategy, Revenue Operations, or Business Intelligence within a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology organization.
- Advanced Technical Stack: Mastery of complex SQL and proficiency in Python or R for data extraction, manipulation, statistical analysis, and pipeline automation.
- Data Visualization & BI: Proven track record building enterprise-grade executive scorecards and self-serve dashboards in Tableau and Looker.
- CRM & GTM Tech Stack Depth: Strong functional understanding of Salesforce (SFDC) data architecture, campaign hierarchies, lead routing rules, and marketing automation platforms.
- Commercial Acumen & Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated experience partnering directly with Director- and VP-level leaders to turn data insights into operational decisions.
Desired
- Experience working with customer data platforms and intent tools such as Segment, 6sense and Marketo.
