About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Infrastructure team. You will build and scale the foundational services that power our identity platform, delivering reliable, secure, and high-performance experiences for millions of users. This is a great role for an engineer who loves owning complex systems and solving hard infrastructure problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate core backend services and APIs at scale.
- Architect solutions for reliability, security, and performance across the platform.
- Write clean, tested, and well-documented code with a focus on quality.
- Participate in code reviews, incident response, and on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to define technical direction.
- Improve system observability, tooling, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and raise the bar for the team.
Requirements and Skills
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Go, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience building distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of databases, caching, and system design fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized workloads.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in identity, authentication, or security platforms is a plus.
Compensation
Salary: $165,000 – $226,600 / year. The exact base salary depends on experience, skills, and location. This role is also eligible for equity, bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
