About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Structural Civil Engineer to provide advanced structural analysis, design, and technical support for building and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams to develop safe, practical, and cost-effective structural solutions.
The position is suited to an experienced civil engineer with strong structural design and analysis expertise who can independently manage technically complex assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations for complex projects.
- Design reinforced concrete, steel, and structural systems.
- Review structural drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Develop detailed structural design packages and technical reports.
- Evaluate existing structures and recommend appropriate strengthening solutions.
- Coordinate structural designs with architectural and MEP disciplines.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
- Identify structural risks and develop engineering solutions.
- Support project teams during construction and resolve technical issues.
- Perform quality reviews of engineering calculations and designs.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and engineering standards.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
Advanced Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional civil or structural engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
- Strong experience with reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Advanced AutoCAD and structural modeling skills.
- Experience with ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of international structural and building codes.
- Experience preparing engineering calculations and technical reports.
- Strong understanding of load paths, structural behavior, and design optimization.
- Excellent technical communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage complex engineering assignments.
Preferred Skills
- Professional engineering license or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with BIM and Revit Structure.
- Knowledge of Eurocodes, ACI, ASCE, or other international standards.
- Experience with seismic design and structural assessment.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong project coordination and technical leadership skills.
