Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Content Creator to expand RCA’s online presence and engage the global chess community. You will serve as the voice and face of RCA across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter), and others. Your role involves creating compelling content and managing our social media channels effectively to build a strong online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop platform-specific posts for Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube, including video editing as required.
- Publishing & Scheduling: Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely posts across all platforms.
- Community Engagement: Respond to followers’ comments and DMs, fostering a strong and interactive community.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with social media trends and creatively apply them to our content.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor content performance through analytics and adjust strategies for optimal reach and engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the RCA team to brainstorm and implement innovative content ideas.
- Platform Optimization: Customize content for each platform to align with algorithms and audience preferences.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in content creation or social media management.
- A minimum 1200 online chess rating on Chess.com, Lichess, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media tools, trends, and best practices.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for growth and long-term collaboration with a dedicated team.
