- Develop tools to simplify ad creation workflows for advertisers, including automation and use of generative AI.
- Optimize asset portability and enable support for custom ad formats across devices and platforms.
- Enhance Netflix’s manual and automated review systems using machine learning and creative analysis.
- Ensure all creatives comply with global policies, regulations, and Netflix brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in engineering, operations, legal, and sales.
- Stay current on programmatic advertising trends, including standards like VAST, OpenRTB, and AdCOM.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in backend software development, preferably in high-scale environments.
- Strong product mindset and ability to balance technical solutions with business outcomes.
- Proven experience delivering large, cross-functional engineering projects.
- Deep understanding of ad creative workflows including CDN management and content lifecycle automation.
- Familiarity with industry protocols (OpenRTB, AdCOM), and the programmatic ad ecosystem.
- Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
Bonus Points:
- Background in CTV (Connected TV) ad tech or knowledge of its unique constraints.
- Exposure to machine learning systems that support content moderation or ad targeting.
- Awareness of legal compliance frameworks for ads (e.g., regional ad laws, brand safety).
- Participation in industry consortiums or working groups related to ad standards.
What Netflix Offers:
- Competitive compensation with flexible mix of salary and stock options
- Industry-leading health benefits, mental health support, family planning coverage
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
- Flexible paid time off (no set limits for salaried employees)
- Generous leave programs, including disability and parental leave
- Inclusive culture where your background and voice are valued
