About the Role
FuturHealth is transforming digital healthcare through modern technology and scalable digital experiences. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer who can build elegant, high-performance web and mobile applications used by millions of users.
You’ll work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Data teams to develop scalable applications and help shape the future of healthtech.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain web and mobile applications using React, React Native, and TypeScript.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.
- Translate Figma designs into scalable and reusable frontend components.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and Data teams to deliver new features.
- Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and Core Web Vitals.
- Build and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Participate in code reviews and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Follow healthcare security and privacy requirements, including HIPAA and HITRUST.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to frontend engineering standards.
About You – Skills & Experience
Must Have
- 4+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Experience building and deploying production-grade web applications.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Experience with React Native or modern mobile development.
- Experience with Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or React Testing Library.
- Understanding of scalable component architecture and design systems.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js, SSR, or modern React frameworks.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or other modern CSS frameworks.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and API integrations.
- Experience with Redux, Zustand, or TanStack Query.
- Experience working in healthcare, telehealth, or regulated industries.
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale design systems.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of web security, performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals.
