The Role
We are looking for a Staff Product Designer to join our Commercial Growth team. You will design across the full lifecycle of commercialization on Squarespace, covering pricing and plan selection, upgrade and billing surfaces, and account management, with a focus on turning complex commercial systems into clear, human experiences that feel at home on our platform.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with product management and engineering leads to define the strategy for high-leverage commercial surfaces.
- Drive end-to-end design for growth surfaces, from discovery and prototyping through shipping and iteration.
- Mentor fellow designers and elevate the quality of design across the team.
- Collaborate with our Design Systems team to evolve shared patterns and components.
- Use data and customer research to validate design decisions and measure impact.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive product design experience, including work on complex commercial, pricing, billing, or growth surfaces.
- A track record of shipping high-quality, impactful design work at scale.
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to turn complex requirements into simple, elegant experiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across product, engineering, and research.
- A portfolio demonstrating craft, strategy, and measurable outcomes.
Compensation
Salary: $200,000 – $300,000 / year (cash compensation range; eligibility for equity and benefits).
