Job Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality developer documentation for Peach’s API platform.
You’ll help developers understand, integrate, and use Peach’s APIs by creating clear API references, guides, tutorials, migration documentation, and technical resources. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure documentation remains accurate, useful, and easy to navigate.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain API references, integration guides, tutorials, and technical documentation.
- Build and organize a centralized developer resource center.
- Document new APIs, features, product releases, and platform migrations.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and developer-friendly content.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather and verify technical information.
- Establish documentation standards, templates, and content guidelines.
- Improve documentation structure, navigation, searchability, and overall developer experience.
- Create technical training materials and video tutorials.
- Collaborate with Marketing on technical content and product materials.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing.
- Strong experience creating API and developer documentation.
- Experience managing or building documentation platforms.
- Experience creating developer guides, tutorials, training materials, and technical resources.
- Strong understanding of software development and API concepts.
- Excellent writing, editing, research, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with engineers, product managers, and technical teams.
Technical Skills & Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Familiarity with Python, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with Markdown and Git-based documentation workflows.
- Experience with GitHub and documentation-as-code practices.
- Familiarity with Redoc, Docusaurus, GitBook, or similar documentation platforms.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and software development processes.
- Experience in fintech, lending, payments, banking, or financial services is a plus.
